A classic homemade everything bagel seasoning blend of poppy and sesame seeds, dried garlic and onion, and sea salt — great for bagels, breads and savory toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 TBSP poppy seeds
  • 1 TBSP white sesame seeds
  • 1 TBSP black sesame seeds
  • 1 TBSP dried minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP dried minced onion
  • 2 TSP sea salt flakes (or coarse salt)

Method

  1. Combine the poppy seeds, white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion and sea salt flakes in a bowl.
  2. Stir or shake thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Transfer the seasoning to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
  4. Sprinkle on bagels, breads, avocado toast, salads or other savory dishes as desired.
