Ingredients

  • 1 can Whole or diced plum tomato (Discard half the juice)

  • 1 onion (Sweet)

  • 1 Tomato

  • 1 jalapeno pepper (Cleaned and diced)

  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (fresh and chopped)

  • 1 garlic salt (To taste)

Directions

  • Mix it.
  • used a food processor to blend it a bit, but still left chunks.
  • Let it sit for a good 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Whole tomatoes in the can will taste better as they are only cooked once during processing, while diced or crushed tomatoes are cooked twice.
  • Knock off of the Ottawa-based chain’s salsa.
