Ingredients

  • 12 chicken wings, split

  • 1 tablespoon Some olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of your favourite chicken rub

  • 6 slices of bacon (1/2 slice per wing)

Directions

  • Put wings in a large mixing bowl
  • add oil, toss wings to coat
  • add a moderate amount of rub
  • wrap each wing in half a strip of bacon
  • Place wings on a wire rack
  • Smoke over apple/hickory at 225 for one hour
  • Increase temp to 300 for another 45 minutes – an hour, till bacon is irresistible
