Avocado Crema with Lime and Cilantro

Ingredients

  • 2 Limes, juiced

  • 1 clove Garlic, peeled and smashed

  • 1/2 cup Cilantro leaves (Stems are fine too)

  • 2 Avocados, medium

  • 1 cup Crema or Sour Cream

  • 2 TSP Cumin, freshly toasted and ground if you can)

  • 1 TSP Black Pepper

  • 1/2 TSP Chipotle (if you want some heat)

  • 1/2 TSP Kosher salt

Directions

  • Add Garlic, Cilantro and Lime Juice to a food processor, pulse till everything is fine chopped
  • Add the Avocados and repeat, scraping the sides as necessary.
  • Add the Crema and mix well.
  • Cool in fridge for 30 minutes before using.

Notes

  • I used Greek Yogurt once, and its all I could taste.
