2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoon soy sauce
4 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
1/4 teaspoon Liquid Smoke (optional)
4 tablespoon Montreal Steak Spice (less if kids involved)
2 Rib Eye Steaks (16oz)
1 Zip lock bag or vacuum canister (big enough to fit above ingredients)
Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Place steaks in bag or vacuum canister. Remove as much of air as possible from bag or canister; the straw method can be used on the bag (see notes). Refrigerate minimum of 1 hour; can be left over night if desired. Remove steaks from marinade and cook to desired level using you favorite method (BBQ (see notes about using marinade for basting), pan fry, oven fry...) Let stand for 5-10 min. Serve and ENJOY!
The straw method for removing air from a zip lock bag is as follows:
Place ingredients into the bag.
Close bag 3/4 way and remove as much of the air as possible by hand.
Insert straw and close bad snug to it.
Suck out as much of the remaining air as possible.
Take care not to get any of the marinade in your mouth since it may contain blood from the meat.
Bite down on the straw and pull it out.
Close the bag all the way.
If you are going to use the marinade for basting it should be boiled first to kill any bacteria it may harbor.
