Simple but effective! This recipe is perfect for a pack of 3 yardbirds from Costco.
3 Gallons Ice Cold Water
6 cloves Garlic, crushed
12 Cardamom Seeds, whole
3 TBSP Whole Peppercorns
1.5 Cups Kosher Salt
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3 TBSP Savoury
Mix it all up
Submerge the birds
Set them overnight in the fridge
Next day, rinse them off and pat dry
Cook as you wish.
I use Newfoundland Savoury...it aint your regular savoury, though I suppose that would suffice
